1. General Information

  • The MEG Heritage Walk is organised by Bengaluru Prayana in coordination with the Madras Engineer Group (MEG).
  • Participation in the walk confirms that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Entry to the MEG campus is subject to the approval and security protocols of MEG authorities.

2. Registration and Identification

  • All participants must register in advance through Bengaluru Prayana’s official booking process.
  • Each participant must provide their Full Name, Aadhaar Number, and Phone Number before the walk.
  • Carrying a physical Aadhaar card on the day of the walk is mandatory for entry into the campus.
  • Entry will be denied if the participant fails to provide valid identification.

3. Security and Conduct

  • The MEG campus is a defence establishment, and participants are expected to follow all instructions given by Bengaluru Prayana organisers and MEG officials.
  • Photography and videography are not permitted during the walk. Participants must strictly adhere to these restrictions.
  • Participants must remain with the group at all times and avoid restricted areas.
  • Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or any disruptive behaviour is strictly prohibited inside the premises.
  • Participants are required to carry their physical Aadhaar cards, which MEG authorities will verify upon submission/entry.
  • The premises are under constant CCTV surveillance, and participants are recorded at all times while inside the campus.
  • Any suspicious or inappropriate behaviour will result in the participant being politely asked to leave the walk and the MEG campus immediately.

4. Schedule and Participation

  • The walk covers approximately 3–4 kilometres within the MEG campus.
  • Participants are requested to arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • The walk includes a visit to MSMA (subject to access approval) and concludes with breakfast or high tea outside the campus.
  • Late arrivals may not be allowed to join the group after it has entered the campus.

5. Cancellation and Substitution

  • Once your booking is confirmed, you may cancel or reschedule up to 3 days before the scheduled walk date. Bookings become non-transferable and non-refundable within 3 days of the walk, except in the event of cancellation by Bengaluru Prayana or MEG authorities.
  • Bengaluru Prayana reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the walk due to unforeseen circumstances, including security restrictions or weather conditions.
  • In case of cancellation, participants will be notified, and refunds or rescheduling options will be provided.

6. Liability Disclaimer

  • Participants join the walk at their own risk.
  • Bengaluru Prayana and MEG will not be held responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to personal belongings during the walk.
  • Participants are expected to be in suitable health to undertake a moderate-level walk of 3–4 kilometres.

7. Photography and Media

  • By participating, you consent to Bengaluru Prayana using group photographs or videos from the walk for promotional or archival purposes.
  • Individual photographs will not be used without consent.
