The Microbrewery Learning Trail is a guided, educational experience designed for those who want to understand beer beyond drinking it. Curated by Bengaluru Prayana, this trail focuses on the process of beer making, brewing styles, ingredients, and mindful tasting.
Led by an experienced host, the trail takes you through select microbreweries where learning and appreciation take centre stage.

- Walking Distance: Approx. 1.5–2 kilometres
- Start time: 2:30 PM
- End time: 5:30 PM
- Start Point: World War I memorial, Residency Road

What to Expect
- A guided microbrewery learning and tasting session, not a pub crawl
- Introduction to beer ingredients, with a focus on hops and their role in flavour and aroma
- Learn about the connection between hops and cannabis and see hops up close
- Visit multiple breweries in one afternoon
- 9 curated tasting samples, explained and contextualised
- Clear understanding of British, Belgian, and German brewing styles
- Interactive discussions and Q&A with the host
About the Experience
This trail is designed for curious minds, people who want to learn how beer is brewed, why styles taste different, and how to taste beer mindfully.
It is not a drinking or food-focused experience.
Food is limited to light snacks meant for pairing with beer tastings and not a meal.
