Terms & Conditions for Self-Guided Walks (DIY Format)

These Terms & Conditions govern your use and access to the self-guided walk products provided by Bengaluru Prayana (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By purchasing, downloading, or accessing our DIY walk products, you agree to the following:

Product Description

Our self-guided walk materials include downloadable digital files (PDFs) and may consist of audio files or links in the future. These guides are designed for personal use and to help you explore specific neighbourhoods and landmarks independently.

Ownership

The DIY self-exploratory heritage walk guides (“Guides”) provided on Bengaluru Prayana are the intellectual property (IP) of Raksha Nagaraj Prasad. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

  • Occasionally, our website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information.

License & Usage

  • The materials are for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, modify, resell, or distribute any part of the materials without written permission.
  • Sharing or uploading these materials publicly (including on blogs, websites, WhatsApp groups, Telegram, social media, etc.) is strictly prohibited.

By downloading the Guides, you agree to use them solely for personal, non-commercial purposes to enhance your self-guided exploration of Bengaluru’s heritage sites. Unauthorised use of information provided by us shall give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

Access & Delivery

  • The guide(s) will be delivered as downloadable files (typically PDFs) upon successful payment.
  • Please ensure you enter the correct email ID at checkout. We are not responsible for delivery failure due to incorrect email addresses.

We shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorisation for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.

Upon successful purchase, the guide will be sent to the email address provided during checkout in 2 to 3 days. You will receive an email with a link to download the guide. Please note that emails may occasionally be filtered into your spam or junk folder. We recommend checking there if you do not see it in your inbox.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • No refunds or cancellations are permitted once the digital files have been delivered.
  • If you do not receive the file within 2 to 3 days of purchase, please get in touch with us at BengaluruPrayana@gmail.com for support.

  • All prices are mentioned on our website or payment link at the time of purchase.
  • Full payment is required before access is granted.
  • Payments are processed through secure third-party platforms.

Support & Updates

  • The self-guided content is current as of the date of release.
  • While we strive to keep the guides up to date, local conditions (e.g., construction, closures, access changes) may impact accuracy.
  • We do not provide live guidance or on-ground support for self-guided walks.

Health & Safety Disclaimer

  • You are responsible for your personal safety during the walk.
  • Always remain aware of your surroundings, follow local traffic rules, and avoid walking alone at night.
  • Bengaluru Prayana is not liable for any injury, loss, or inconvenience caused during your walk.
